Define and realize your artistic goals

The Minnesota Artists Guild (MAG) is an all-in-one resource for artists in an array of disciplines. We facilitate goal and career development by aiding in the formation of peer and mentor connections, promoting collaborations, uncovering opportunities, and inspiring creativity. We emphasize the importance of in-person relationships among mentors and peers through local monthly programming and offer physical and digital resources to promote artists’ growth.

WHO
Minnesota-based artists in an array of disciplines including visual arts, music, and literature at all stages of their careers.

WHAT
MAG is a low-cost membership-based resource for MN artists that will be rolled out in three phases as membership numbers and funding allows. Our intention is to reach 200 state-wide members and obtain a non-profit status within the first year of operation.  Below are the three prospective phases of development, though each will be ultimately determined by artists’ needs as indicated by survey responses.

Phase I

WHY
Whether your goal is to get national exposure, make a living from your art, land your first gig, find collaborators, or just plain get inspired, we have it covered.  MAG is the only all-in-one collective of its kind, offering real business opportunities, in-person connections with mentors and peers, promotional support, career development, education, tools, inspiration, collaborations, and so much more.

WHERE
The premier chapter will be in the Twin Cities metro area followed close behind by Rochester, Duluth, St Cloud, Mankato, Moorhead and any area where sufficient interest arises to support a chapter.

HOW
Stay up to date!  Or better yet, get involved. In this initial discovery phase, the best way to do both is to take our short planning survey HERE
